I saw the hype online about Shobu and it exceeded expectations in every way. Every single dish we ate had an incredible depth & richness leaving me wanting more even when I was so full! The Service was great, highly recommend and make sure to get there early!

Fantastic, authentic, delicious! Absolutely delightful restaurant, very well themed. Food is delicious, and super flavourful. Staff where 10/10, service was quick and made you feel at home! We did have to pay via a bank transfer, which was all little awkward. However, as it is the first week of opening, that can be overlooked as a small issue to iron out. As im sure it will be!!! 👌

I’ve tasted many good ramen restaurants, but with this one I’m in tears. What an amazing food and incredible service. If someday I’m back to Nottingham, this is a must to come back again.

Had an opportunity to visit during the soft opening time. Excellent food quality and very friendly staff. Maintained the high standard and atmosphere from previous HeyChili. Definitely would recommend this place 🌟

The soup base is rich and flavorful, and the ramen is cooked to perfection. The pork is incredibly tender, melting in my mouth with every bite. I absolutely loved it - it instantly lifted my mood with a burst of happiness

We were a party of 7, sitting in one of their 3 large tables. Good atmosphere and modern look. Friendly and welcoming staff. I ordered a ramen and a tapas dish. The noodle hardness is just right for me. Overall they were delicious. Although it seemed a little pricy for me but it was worth it.

Gyoza tasted fresh and home made. Served with a sweet mayonnaise mousse. Ramen broth was excellent, and the pork expertly glazed. Cocktails and Sake well done too. Overall I’d resend.
The food was really authentic, the service was good and I enjoyed the house sake. The whole experience reminded me of the Isakias in Japan, loved it.

The broth in the ramen was incredible, unfortunately can’t remember the exact name but it was one of the garlic ones. Fried gyozas were delicious too, deffo try this place out!

Incredible ramen. The creamiest ramen broth I have ever had. Homemade noodle and the beef brisket is cooked to perfection. Staff were very lovely and very happy to hear we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend.

The food here was excellent, the peach cocktail was delicious and the staff were really friendly. The only criticism I have is that chilli oil should not be £1.50 to add to ramen! That is crazy pricing. Also, I would recommend always giving a glass alongside a bottled beer. We had a really great meal out here and will definitely return
